Yoga with the Pearl
VIRYA YOGA, CHAIR YOGA AND YINYOGA
Virya yoga, level 1-2
Do we work with body and breathing exercises. We focus on strength, balance and mobility in a gentle and safe way. Each lesson ends with relaxation/meditation. Even those who for some reason need to take it a little more calmly and carefully will benefit from this yoga!
Chair yoga
Flows that make it easier for participants who have difficulty getting up and down from the floor. Sit on a chair, with the chair and the wall for support. It's about doing yoga with grace regardless of age, weight or habit.
Yin yoga
Yin yoga is a perfect complement to physical training where you work with joints, bones, energy, ligaments and connective tissue. A calm and meditative form of yoga where you stay for 3-5 minutes in each position. Increases softness, elasticity and recovery in the body.
About the Pearl
Trained Viryayoga, Yinyoga and Chair Yoga teacher. All these yoga forms are a way to increase mobility and strength in the body and the bud. I have a strong focus on our anatomy in the adult and aging body as well as on the meditative part of yoga.

Yoga with Lina
Ashtanga yoga and Yin yoga
Ashtanga yoga
A dynamic yoga that helps us notice our body and our energy flow so we can release tension and blockages. It consists of a series of movements that are done in the same order each time. The previous movement opens up the next which prepares the body for the next and so on. The postures, called asanas combined with bandhas and conscious breathing, give the body strength and flexibility, balance us and ground us. Bandha means to hold, lock and we use two muscle locks, bandhas. It is a way of keeping energy inside the body and raising prana, life force.
A powerful tool that gives the body an opportunity to heal itself and clear out debris while we turn our focus inward and learn to listen to ourselves. Ashtang yoga is a form of meditation where we can let go of thoughts and what is around, to learn to trust our own voice and follow our own pace.
Yin yoga
A perfect complement to physical training when working with joints, bones, energy, ligaments and connective tissue-fascia. It is a calm and meditative form of yoga where you stay for 3-5 minutes in each position to increase softness, elasticity and recovery in the body. It has been shown to help with back pain, knee and neck problems and above all with landing for a while in a stressed and fast lifestyle.

About Lina
Runs MaDevaLina Yoga & Therapy. Yoga teacher in Ashtanga and Yin Yoga and conversation/body therapist. I think it is hugely exciting to work with the body from a holistic perspective. To see what happens when we move as we need and when we take care of our own energy and spend some time with ourselves. That it can be easy to feel good when we understand what we need.
